Embarrassing: Shedeur Sanders can’t rise above QB3, even after Flacco benched

The Browns benched Joe Flacco on Wednesday, but not for Shedeur Sanders. Dillon Gabriel is slated to get his first NFL start, while the #LEGENDARY quarterback remains on the bench.

Shedeur Sanders is still QB3

Joe Flacco will serve as Dillon Gabriel’s backup and Shedeur Sanders will remain Cleveland’s third-string QB. https://t.co/7Z2jDzGqfo

Sanders’ name has been dragged through the mud for about six months now. Dating back to Draft Day, he’s been nothing short of a disaster — and he hasn’t even started an NFL game yet.

From his pre-draft refusal to meet with certain teams, to his dad admitting he told Baltimore not to draft his son to be their backup, it’s been one thing after another. Now, even with the quarterback hellscape in Cleveland, the kid still can’t crack the starting lineup.

Part of me feels bad for him, given all the bad advice he got from those around him. But at some point, it falls on Shedeur’s shoulders. He’s a grown man.

Honestly, I think he’ll eventually get a shot this year. Gabriel stinks. Give it a game or two and Browns fans will be clamoring for Sanders.
