AJ Brown backtracks on Twitter antics, only to ignite new feud with Seth Joyner

AJ Brown, c’mon big dog. You’re better than this!

On the same day the Eagles WR1 took full accountability for sending the cryptic Tweet on Sunday, he went after Seth Joyner for telling him to do his job. I thought this was a fake Tweet at first and that Seth was just yelling at a bot, but nope, it appears multiple people have screen shotted this now-deleted Tweet from AJ.

I genuinely do not care about what AJ Brown, or any professional athlete, says on Twitter. As long as you ball out and show up on Sunday, I’m good. The timing of this one though…. not great. I mean, you literally told the media hours before sending this Tweet that you can’t let your emotions get the better of you, and then you lash out on Seth Joyner.

I don’t like all of Seth’s takes either. He’s also a hypocrite — telling people how to do their jobs while firing off Tweets like this when people criticize him:

So yeah, he’s 100% a rat. I wouldn’t be happy about what he said if I were AJ, I just wouldn’t go on Twitter to let out my frustrations. Reporters, media members, former players who are radio solely because they used to play here — none of them matter. I don’t want this to become a distraction for AJ, and now it kinda feels like it’s creeping into that territory.

Again, all of this is moot if Brown goes out on Sunday and plays well. Winning — and if you’re AJ Brown, putting up big numbers — cures all.

I still think we’re fine. The Eagles are 4-0, there’s in-fighting but there’s always in-fighting. This lovable, dysfunctional family will win on Sunday and probably put all this to rest. Sunday can’t come soon enough.
