Jerry Jones flips off Cowboys fans, catches hefty fine
Cowboys owner and certified goblin Jerry Jones is in hot water yet again. This time it’s because he flipped off fans at MetLife Stadium from his suite, resulting in a $250,000 fine from the NFL.
Jerry Jones said he meant to give a thumbs up, which I almost genuinely believe:
Jerry Jones on @1053thefan on giving the middle finger during Sunday’s game in New Jersey: “That was unfortunate. There was a swarm of Cowboys fans out front. It was right after we made our last touchdown. I put up the wrong show of hand. The intention was thumbs up.” pic.twitter.com/3QS6ZkD4B1

I mean, just look at the way he points at the fans with a huge smile on his face. That is such a Texan move after a thumbs up, I can see George W. Bush doing exactly that in my minds eye.
Either it was an honest, likely senile mistake, or he was trying to use his old age to cover up his disdain for his own fanbase so he could get a quick fire bird off. That might have been something he was smart enough to do a decade ago, but recently he’s a man whose mental faculties are in steep decline.
Regardless, it’s incredible how Jerry Jones always seems to be a story every week. Please, Jerry. Never ever retire.
