Kyle Schwarber’s home run broke these Japanese commentators on the call
It looks like Kyle Schwarber has made a couple of enemies over in Japan with his monster home run off of Yoshinobu Yamamoto. The Japanese commentators really could not hide their disappointment all to well.
These two fellas seemed less than thrilled with Kyle Schwarber mashing one off their countryman:

Take this however you want, but I have heard a lot of Japanese commentary in my day. I’ll be the first one to tell you that, while they were definitely impressed and did their jobs well here, they were not exactly over the moon that their boy got rocked in a high leverage spot.
And, hey, I get it. It’s tough. It has to be a terrible feeling to have your guy give up a home run hit so hard the whole stadium’s collective jaw hit the floor simultaneously.
