Legend Status: Lone Phillies fan goes nuts as Dodgers fans head for the exits in 7th inning

The Phillies absolutely waxed the Dodgers in Game 3 of the NLDS, sending LA fans to the exits as early as the 7th inning. Phillies fans, however, did no such thing, and one guy has achieved legendary status in my eyes for going completely bonkers as people filed out around him with a Schwarbomb going off in the background.

This Phillies fan was having the time of his life behind enemy lines:

First of all, hell yeah, brother. This is what being a road warrior is all about. Make yourself known, and when the opps head for the exits, let them hear it.

He hit pretty much every beat you could ask for. “Go Birds” is always applicable, but “support your local jazz station” is phenomenal stuff. I also fully support the jersey with no name or number; he doesn’t need another man’s name on his back. Hell, I might want a jersey with his name on it, but have it signed and framed in my living room.

He’s right as well, putting Kershaw in in that spot was a death sentence for the Dodgers. They left him out there and had him die on his sword. Pretty fucked up to honor kill a franchise legend, but I guess that’s how they do things in the Socialist Republic of California.

But hey, whoever this Phillies fan is, I need to get in touch with him. We need him dancing with me when the Phillies win Game 4 tonight.

Very real and legitimate journalist. I don't see a loss on the schedule.
