Giants rubbed salt in the wound Thursday night, flashing the Phillies’ final score on jumbotron right in the middle of Eagles’ meltdown
Thursday night was rough, you don’t need me to tell you that. The New York Giants, however, took this opportunity to piss on our collective grave.
During the Eagles meltdown at MetLife, the stadium’s scoreboard operators flashed the Phillies final score on the jumbotron.
Giants really rubbing salt in the wound here
Honestly, I’m not even mad about this. We would’ve done the same thing. Well played.
And you know what, New York really needed a night like last night. The Yankees just got swept, the Mets missed the playoffs, the Giants have won like 10 games since the OBJ boat picture in 2016. Thursday night didn’t bring New York back from the abyss, but at least they had one night of joy. Everyone deserves that — even the inbred freaks who populate MetLife.
As for us, we’ll be fine. Let the rats have their fun.
