WATCH: Brewers pull off unreal double play vs. Dodgers to end 4th inning
The Milwaukee Brewers just pulled off one of the most ridiculous double plays MLB has ever seen. Max Muncy hit what looked like a possible home run when Sal Frelick elevated to try and keep the ball in the park. What happened next I can’t even really explain.
This play is proof that the Brewers might actually be a team of destiny:

Much like Frelick, I was also left thinking, “What the fuck just happened?”
The play at the wall to save a potential home run or triple was impressive enough. Ortiz’s relay throw to home was perfect, and the baseball IQ from Contreras to get the final out at third put this over the top.
As a Phillies fan, I take no joy from this. Sure, I hate the Dodgers, so I certainly cracked a smile, but watching this game is essentially a form of self-flagellation, no matter who wins.
