Saquon Barkley ‘loved’ the Eagles’ offensive meeting heading into Week 7
The Eagles have been using their mini bye week to get things sorted out, especially on the offensive side of the ball. Saquon Barkley told John Clark that he ‘loved’ the meeting, which hopefully spells good things for the stagnant unit.
Saquon Barkley seems happy with the offense’s mindset going into their clash with the Vikings:
Saquon Barkley tells @JClarkNBCS he "loved" the meeting the offense had and the mindset they're going into. Asked if they think they'll find their identity- "I don't wanna give too much scouting information, but we look forward to getting out there and getting back on track."… pic.twitter.com/0Bh05p3amJ

Of course, the last time there was an allegedly positive meeting, AJ Brown told the media it was a quick parking lot chat. So it’d be foolish of us to not take this with a grain of salt.
Still, in a time where the Phillies are dead, the Sixers feel like the Titanic heading towards and iceberg, and the Eagles are struggling immensely, I’m looking for any sliver of hope that this extended break results in a turnaround.
At the same time, though, hope only prolongs the suffering of man. As a fanbase who’s undergone a great deal of suffering this October, hope can be a dangerous thing.
My advice? Go into this week with measured optimism with a side of healthy skepticism. That’s the best way to protect yourself psychologically if shit hits the fan against Carson Wentz.
