WATCH: AJ Brown says what we’ve all been thinking after scoring go ahead TD vs. Vikings

The Eagles finally got their lick back on Sunday, and they did it the only way this team knows how — by letting the stars take over. AJ Brown, DeVonta Smith, and Jalen Hurts put the entire operation on their backs and dragged the Birds across the finish line.

That trio combined for 304 yards through the air against Minnesota, which should signal one painfully obvious adjustment for Kevin Patullo moving forward: throw the damn football. Even AJ Brown said as much after the go-ahead touchdown, and honestly, who’s going to argue with him?

I’m with AJ on this one, give that man the ball when it matters.

I still have my questions about Kevin Patullo, though. There were way too many predictable run calls for a team with a banged-up interior offensive line. Still, today was a step in the right direction.

This was a must-win game by any means necessary, and the Birds got it done. That’s all that matters.
