WATCH: Miss Indiana’s Caitlin Clark Outfit Just Broke the Internet

Caitlin Clark’s influence just hit the Miss USA stage — and if that’s not proof she’s a generational athlete, I don’t know what is.

This week, Miss Indiana Sydney Shrewsbury turned heads during the 2025 Miss USA preliminaries in Reno, Nevada, when she strutted out in a full-blown Caitlin Clark-themed outfit. We’re talking the No. 22 jersey, high white boots, and a basketball purse to tie it all together.

While other contestants went with predictable “state symbol” looks — eagles, cornfields, and whatever else screams “Midwest” — Miss Indiana said, nah, I’m going with the one person who actually put this state back on the map.

Miss Indiana repping Caitlin Clark

As my colleague Ryan Conway here at TheLibertyLine would say: “Good Heavens.”

I mean that outfit is sick and obviously Miss Indiana looks stunning.

But the point here remains

Caitlin Clark has transcended sports. She’s influencing fashion, pop culture, pageantry, and still somehow has haters questioning her impact. So for those idiots who think the WNBA doesn’t need her, just look around.

She could literally start her own league and put the “W” out of business, on her own.

Caitlin Clark has been the ratings cheat code everywhere she’s gone — college, pros, doesn’t matter. She pulled nearly 10 million viewers for a women’s national championship game and another 3.3 million just to watch her break the NCAA scoring record. Then she hits the WNBA, and suddenly it’s the league’s most-watched season ever across ESPN. That’s not coincidence — that’s the Caitlin Clark effect in full force.

And the craziest part? She didn’t even finish the season. The Fever still managed a deep postseason run without their superstar rookie and without Sophie Cunningham. So yeah — imagine what happens when she’s back healthy next year.

I can’t wait to see her take the floor again, because if Indiana was dangerous without her, they’re about to be championship favorites with her.
