Eagles’ Big Dom DiSandro visited Cam Skattebo in the hospital with the ultimate Philly care package
Giants’ running back Cam Skattebo went down with a nasty ankle injury during the game against the Eagles, which required immediate surgery in Philadelphia. Eagles legend and Chief of Security Big Dom DiSandro made a surprise visit with a care package, putting Brotherly Love on display.
Big Dom brought Cam Skattebo and his family pizza and cheesesteaks when he got out of surgery:
That right there is what it’s all about, folks. Don’t get me wrong, I despise the Giants, but this is just a classy gesture from Philadelphia’s most prominent tracksuit-wearing paisan.
We Eagles fans get a lot of flak, which is only rarely warranted, but the organization is quite literally unimpeachable in terms of how they do things. Just professionalism all the way down.
It does help that I’ve been a Skattebo truther since the start of last year. I love a crazy ass white boy with no sense of danger whatsoever. I was heartbroken when he went to the Giants, and let’s just say this injury has hurt my fantasy team considerably.
Skattebo also definitely appreciated the gesture. He tweeted earlier today that he appreciated all that Philadelphia did for him while he was laid up in the hospital. Who knows… maybe that’s planted the seed for his free agency once his rookie deal is up.
Thank you everyone for the support!! Surgery went well. I just want to thank the city of Philly for taking the best care of me. Every moment I spent in the hospital with family and friends I felt loved and supported in every way❤️ thank you to the doctors, surgeons, and staff…
