Penn Data Breach: Hackers send out brutal mass emails criticizing the school from official accounts

Penn students and alumni opened their emails to a shocking message from several official school accounts deriding the University. The message called the school a “dogshit elitist institution full of woke retards” and made threats to release evidence of discriminatory admissions practices.

The hackers had some harsh criticisms to share about Penn as an institution:

Jesus Christ, man. I hate UPenn as much as the next guy, but I definitely wouldn’t go this far. Ivy League snobbery has never been my cup of tea. And that’s coming from me, a Main Line snob, just to provide some context as to how gauche I find the Ivy aesthetic at times.

I do have a connection to the Penn community, whom I’ll leave anonymous, and he found it pretty funny. Apparently, the email blast came from approximately six different official email addresses, so I have to imagine close to everyone across the University has seen it.

This has, like everything else in this damn country, brought out support and derision from two opposing sides. Some are absolutely loving the message; others are not.

At my alma mater, beautiful Colby College, I learned that lesson. Greek life was banned on campus, but we still had underground fraternities that operated off campus. They were, of course, made up with the most well-off students. I’m talking about names on buildings level money.

Conveniently for them, the president of the college’s daughter was associated with one of the sororities. At one point, events forced the president to launch an investigation into these fraternities.

Everyone knew who they were. It was an open secret. But the investigation found no proof of anything. How convenient.

So, yes, donors, legacies, and those with proximity to power will always be prioritized. That’s just the game being played.

Now, when it comes to Penn being a “dogshit elitist institution full of woke retards,” I wouldn’t know. Like I said, it’s all very gauche to me.
