Eagles have the best BYE week of all time, sit atop NFC as No. 1 seed entering second-half of 2025

The Eagles got the top seed in the NFC on their day off? Amazing stuff.

Philly couldn’t have had a better BYE week. Let’s break it down:

• The Giants lost to Mac Jones
• The Commanders got belted on national TV
• The Packers lost to the Panthers
• The Lions fell to little bro
• Our allies in Chicago won a thriller

Perfect bye week — and the healthy Eagles are coming back

It doesn’t really get any better than that, does it? Let’s not forget all the players the Eagles will be getting back, as well as the new additions they made over Halloween weekend.

Brandon Graham should make his season debut next Monday night. Nolan Smith hopefully comes off IR. The offensive line should be at full health. AJ Brown comes back. On top of all that, Howie Roseman brought in Michael Carter, Jaire Alexander, and Jaelan Phillips via trades.

Sitting at 6-2, the Birds have the top seed and win the tiebreaker over Seattle and Tampa Bay because they have a better winning percentage in conference play.

It’s all falling into place now. All the Birds have to do is keep this thing rolling in the right direction. They’re in complete control of their destiny, which is exactly where you want to be.
