The Philadelphia Eagles and Chicago Bears have formed an unstoppable alliance this year
Call it fate, call it mutual respect, or maybe just shared disdain for the rest of the NFC, but the Chicago Bears and Philadelphia Eagles continue to slowly but surely take out each other’s trash.
Eagles survive Packers as defense dominates and Sirianni tests fate late
Philly has now beaten the Green Bay Packers and Minnesota Vikings. The Chicago Bears have returned the favor by knocking off the Giants, Cowboys, and Commanders.
“The Bears-Eagles Alliance is at an all time high”
Poetic, really…
The Eagles handle the Bears problems in the NFC North and Chicago takes care of the other, pathetic teams in the NFC East. The trend could continue next week when the Birds face the Detroit Lions, giving them another chance to help out their unlikely Midwestern partners.

Chicago NFC North Standings:

Don’t get it twisted, Bears fans, this alliance won’t last forever.
For starters, the Bears need the Eagles help more than the Birds need them.
Philadelphia won the NFC East for four straight seasons, from 2001 to 2004. They are the last team in the division to win consecutive division titles.
That streak is nearly a lock to change this year, while the Bears are still on the outside looking in, fighting for a spot in the NFC playoffs.
On top of that, the Bears are heading to South Philly on Black Friday to take on the Birds, which will officially end this short-lived but productive partnership.
