Micah Parsons should face discipline for his dirty play on Saquon Barkley last night at Lambeau
I really don’t care if it was accidental or intentional. Packers or Eagles fans can spin what happened with Micah Parsons any way that want. What he did to Saquon Barkley last night was not only a dirty play, but also a blatant penalty that surprise, surprise the lousy officiating crew completely missed.
In case you missed it, late in the 4th quarter while the Eagles lead the Packers 10-7, Saquon took a carry right through a nice gap. It looked like it was going to be the dagger with open grass ahead of him but instead, Micah Parsons stuck his leg out and completely tripped Barkley just a few yards past the line of scrimmage.

I’ve never seen a more blatant trip in my entire life than this one Parsons had on Saquon tonight… Legitimately may have been a touchdown saving play… Literal definition of the rule. No flags in sight.

A literal game-changing trip that likely prevented a touchdown right in front of everyone’s eyes. How do you miss this?
The funny part about all of this…
The NFL front office has been trying to crack down on tripping penalties this season so when I say that Micah Parsons should be fined, I’m not just crying and ratting him out to Roger Goodell and the suits.
In fact, they have continued to hand out sizable fines over the last few weeks for plays exactly like this one. Prime example would be Joey Bosa and DK Metcalf both getting hit with hefty unsportsmanlike fines “kicking/tripping.”
So, I fully expect proper action to be taken here to discipline Micah Parsons. I would be foolish to not mention the fact that Micah is yet again in the news for something unrelated to his contributions on the football field. Awesome stuff there pal.
