WATCH: AJ Brown asked if everything’s ‘good’, his response was that it’s a ‘sh-t show’ but as usual, context matters

A short livestream clip between AJ Brown and Commanders fan JankyRondo blew up online this morning.

The video starts with Rondo asking AJ if everything is “good,” and Brown casually replies, “It’s a sh*t show.”

Of course, the internet ran wild. The usual suspects at WIP jumped all over it, posting the clip on social media without context and trying to stir up drama for clicks. They saw a one-minute clip from a long Madden stream and treated it like a locker room confession.

WATCH: AJ Brown on if everything is good

Let’s take a step back.

This wasn’t a press conference or a cryptic postgame quote. It was literally a video game stream and if you look closely at the scoreboard, someone was getting smoked. Judging by AJ’s mood, that person was probably him. His tone sounded more like a guy losing in Madden than a player taking shots at his team.

No to mention, the text slapped across the clip read “Eagles WR AJ Brown tells Rondo about his poor performance this season” which was clearly made to rage bait people online.

We’re just going to keep telling you the truth here

Even if you want to take AJ’s words seriously, it’s not exactly shocking that he might be frustrated right now. The Eagles offense hasn’t looked sharp, and he finished Monday night’s game with only two catches for 13 yards.

When one of the best wide receivers in the NFL is barely seeing the football, there’s a problem. Whether it’s Kevin Patullo’s play calling or Jalen Hurts missing reads, something needs to change.

The Eagles are too good offensively to have AJ Brown running routes for cardio.

When he’s involved, this team looks unstoppable. When he’s not, they scrape by.

Even if AJ wasn’t just trolling here, he certainly has a reason to be upset over the Eagles if we’re going to go that route.

Yes, the Eagles are winning football games, and no AJ isn’t the “distraction” some of you NPC’s are labeling him. I mean just look at his post game press conference following Monday Night Football. You don’t have to be a licensed therapist to understand the vibes on this one. Everything is fine. The media and NPC’s want you to believe it’s not.

Not to mention, and I know I’m in the minority here, but ask yourself… if AJ Brown is irritated, so what? He’s a competitor. He’s not a distraction. He’s a player who knows what it takes to win, and he’s not wrong for wanting more touches.

I sound like a broken record, but I would be more concerned if AJ Brown wasn’t mad. The guy is literally not getting the football as much as he should.

It’s as simple as that, right?

I don’t have the answers. I’m leaning towards Kevin Patullo not utilizing him properly in this boring, predictable offense over Jalen “routinely” not hitting him when he’s open.

Even that doesn’t really matter and should hold little weight in the minds of Birds fans. These are elite, NFL players that need to figure this shit out and I am still confident that they will.

AJ Brown himself was on a mission spanning back to just a day after the Eagles won the Super Bowl.

The Eagles are a scary football team when AJ Brown is here and getting targeted

He has every right to be selfish when that’s not happening. You want to talk about how he communicates his frustrations? That’s warranted. AJ Brown should be much more self-aware that anything he says is under a microscope and assumptions will be made.

I’m still on the path to enlightenment. That road was created after we won the Super Bowl and will continue to be paved as long as the Eagles are winning football games and in control of their own destiny heading into the playoffs.

There’s no need to question it. If you do, I will be forced to question your intentions and really, your overall dedication to “keeping the main thing, the main thing” as we enter the final stretch of the regular season.

If you thought Eagles vs. Packers on MNF was boring you should not be allowed to watch football >>

Ever since the Eagles acquired AJ Brown via trade, we have been witnessing the most dominant era of football in this city. Just give the man the damn football. Find a way to get him open.

Maybe use him in the slot? Like this can’t be rocket science.

And while I am extremely pumped about our 10-7 victory over the Packers on MNF. The reality is we only scored 10 freakin points. AJ Brown finishing with 2 receptions for 13 yards is a travesty for everyone involved in the offense.

You have to figure this out collectively. When you do, this team might just run away with back-to-back Super Bowls.

  1. Thank you. WIP is hot garbage. They are just making me mad hearing this crap. Hugh Douglas is actually trying to talk some sense, but these morons are calling for AJ to be benched or lose his team Captain status.
