Respect: Dan Campbell compliments Eagles fans in the best way possible
As Eagles fans, I think most of us have a certain level of respect for Lions head coach Dan Campbell. He’s the type of dude who we’d adore as our head coach. Plus, he’s also a defender of the Tush Push, and anyone who’s a Tush Push defender is a patriot in my book.
During his weekly press conference, Campbell spoke about what it means to come and play in Philly. I don’t know if he realized it in the moment, but his response was the best compliment any coach can give us.
Dan Campbell: Philly is not a friendly environment
I’d say most coaches and players share this same sentiment — that Eagles fans are going to give you hell every time you play at The Linc. The difference with Campbell is, he loves it. He wants to break us just as much as we want to break him and his team. The respect is mutual and that’s what football is all about.
Sunday night is primed to be one hell of a game, and could very well decide the top seed in the NFC once it’s all said and done.
