Bad Omen: Aidan Hutchinson admits the Lions have had the Eagles circled since the schedule dropped

Aidan Hutchinson and his Detroit Lions should know better than to start looking ahead on the schedule. Everyone knows the second you do that, bad things happen.

This week, the Lions pass rusher opened his mouth about the Eagles, and in the process committed a cardinal sin — admitting he and his teammates have had this game circled since the schedule dropped.

I’m now fully convinced the Eagles win this game, all because of this quote. Anytime a team obsesses over another team like this, they’re usually in for a rude awakening.

The Lions are a great team, no doubt. But when you spend months hyping yourself up for one game — the way Aidan Hutchinson and his Lions clearly have — it never really works out.
