Bryce Harper debuts new mustache in deleted TikTok video, gets roasted on social media
Bryce Harper broke the internet this week after popping up in a now-deleted TikTok looking like he just clocked out of a night shift at the local bowling alley.
The Phillies superstar showed off a brand-new look during a workout session, rocking a thick, borderline-lawless mustache and a clean-shaven face that made everyone do a double take.
Bryce Harper, 33, filmed the video in the gym wearing a Fear of God hoodie and his usual workout gear, casually dropping the caption “I thought I’d be lying on my workout today” and asking what “the elderly do.” Bold move for a guy who immediately aged himself twenty years with one swipe of the razor.
Bryce Harper’s New Look
Of course, social media exploded.
The clip got more than 26,000 views before Bryce basically panic-deleted it, but X users got their screenshots off early. The roasting was elite, calling Harper a discount Aaron Rodgers and comparing him to an 80’s porn star who works part-time at AutoZone.
There were also plenty of references to Frank Gallagher from Shameless and Matthew McConaughey’s character in Dallas Buyers Club. Honestly, all fair. You cannot walk around sporting that mustache without expecting to get cooked.
Because this is Bryce Harper, the conversation naturally shifted to his famously intense diet. Look, I’m not saying this mustache is the direct result of him chugging raw milk like it’s pre-workout… but I’m also not not saying that. You drink enough of that Amish jet fuel and suddenly your facial hair starts making decisions without you.
At the end of the day, though, the mustache isn’t even the headline.
I’m just happy to see Bryce back in the gym and not talking to the media about irrelevant friction with Dave Dombrowski and the Phillies front office. This is where he thrives. Swinging, lifting, vibing, and unintentionally breaking Phillies Twitter.
Dombrowski rightfully clears the air with Bryce Harper over a situation that never needed to happen
The Phillies head into 2026 with plenty of real baseball questions, but for now, Bryce’s mustache is the offseason storyline we didn’t know we needed. All that’s left is for him to commit to it and pick a walk-up song to match the energy.
Philly will be waiting. See ya soon, Bryce Harper.
