Spit-Gate II: Ja’Marr Chase suspended for spitting on Jalen Ramsey — wrong timing was his real mistake

Ja’Marr Chase and Jalen Ramsey got in a bit of a fight during Sunday’s action, resulting in Chase spitting on Ramsey.

Chase denied doing it, but it was clear as day that he did it once the tapes were dropped.

Now that the league has reviewed the tapes, they’ve suspended Chase for one game with no pay. Tough blow. But honestly, it’s completely Chase’s fault. Not because he spit on Ramsey, because he did it at the end of the game and no one saw it in real time. If he had done it at the beginning, like Jalen Carter did in Week 1, he would’ve just got tossed and not facedf suspension.

When in doubt, consult your local spit-gate perpetrator. Chase had to learn that lesson the hard way.
