Chip Kelly fired by Raiders, will miss a South Philly “homecoming” in Week 15
In a shocking twist absolutely no one in Philadelphia cares about, Chip Kelly will not be coming back to South Philly in Week 15.
The Las Vegas Raiders fired their offensive coordinator on Sunday night, ending a stint so pointless most people probably forgot he even worked there.
Chip Kelly was running an offense that entered Week 12 averaging 15.2 points per game. Las Vegas responded to that elite production by scoring a whopping 10 points against Cleveland, with the final touchdown arriving in garbage time.
The Raiders front office watched it and basically said they had seen enough.

Now, the tiny handful of people who even remembered Chip was coming to The Linc won’t get their fun little homecoming. I know you’re probably devastated but you still have a few weeks to recover.

Instead, the Raiders will probably upgrade by accident with whoever they hand the play sheet to next. Not ideal for the Eagles, but the Raiders might still be awful enough that it doesn’t matter.
Chip Kelly is out and Philadelphia gives this news the exact amount of attention it deserves. Zero.
