Viva La Revolution: Eagles fans put up “FIRE KEVIN PATULLO” sign on Pattison Ave
You have to hand it to Eagles fans. When they want to send a message, they go all in. Forget the handwritten “RUN THE DAMN BALL” cardboard outside NovaCare. We’re now moving heavy machinery into the conversation.
Pictures surfaced Monday morning showing someone actually programmed a full digital construction sign on Pattison Ave to scream “FIRE KEVIN PATULLO” to every driver heading toward the stadium.
That is Philadelphia problem solving. That is using city resources the way God intended.

While I agree with the message in spirit, I also live in reality. The Eagles are not firing their offensive coordinator with five games left in the regular season.
They should at least consider it, but they won’t. This organization treats mid-season changes like they are nuclear codes, even as the city watches the offense trip over itself every week.
The frustrating part is that, despite the collapse vibes echoing all the way back to 2023, the Eagles are somehow still alive in the hunt for the No. 1 seed.
Yes, the same team that scored three points in a half, failed a tush push, and gave up 281 rushing yards is still mathematically in the running for the top seed in the NFC.
It feels insane to say out loud but it is true.

Nick Sirianni spoke after the Bears loss and delivered his usual steady calm. The same calm that has the entire fanbase grinding their molars into dust. He said he is not taking play-calling away from Kevin Patullo. He also said they will “evaluate everything.”
There is a problem there. If you are going to evaluate everything, play-calling should be on the table. You cannot say “everything is under review” while simultaneously carving out one protected, sacred category called “definitely not this one.”
This team looks broken. The losses feel familiar. Eight and two became eight and four real quick, and if you squint hard enough, you can see the outline of that 2023 collapse right behind you.
To make matters worse, Derrick Gunn’s reporting last week added fuel to the fire. If Jalen Hurts is freelancing and ignoring the structure of the offense, it does not matter who calls the plays. You could swap Patullo for Bill Walsh and it would still look like this.
The boos on Friday were earned. The chants were deserved. And that sign on Pattison Ave was simply the city putting its thoughts in writing.
What’s Next for the Eagles:
The Eagles get a few extra days before Monday Night Football against the Chargers. After that, it is the Raiders, Commanders twice, and the Bills. On paper, they should win at least three of their final five games and comfortably take the NFC East.
That is the problem.
The team that showed up on Black Friday does not look capable of beating anyone. Not the Chargers. Not the Raiders… okay maybe the Raiders but I’m not even sure about the Commanders if they keep keep playing football like this.
Everything is in front of them. Through everything burning around them, the Eagles are still in great position to get the No. 1 seed in the playoffs and to repeat as back-to-back NFC Champions. More importantly, they have the chance to erase the 2023 trauma on Monday night against the Chargers.
The fans have spoken. Loudly, digitally and in all caps on Pattison Ave.
