Odell Beckham Jr. claims $100M isn’t enough for a lifetime — I’m confident most of us could make that work
Odell Beckham Jr. sat down with Ryan Clark and Fred Taylor on The Pivot this week and immediately started saying dumb shit — like how $100 million somehow isn’t enough to last a lifetime.
He launched into this long-winded explanation about taxes chopping it down to $60 million, and how everything costs money, blah blah blah. Then, to cap it off, he dropped the classic, “People in our situations don’t get it.”
Yes, OBJ — we absolutely do.
Odell Beckham Jr. just saying stuff for the sake of saying stuff now
If you can’t stretch $100 million to last a lifetime, that’s on you, brother. Simply parking it in property or literally any half-decent investment would keep the money flowing forever. I have no idea what OBJ is trying to get at here.
Does Odell Beckham Jr. want sympathy? Because he’s not getting it. Full disclosure: I’m going off the clip above and I’m not listening to the full episode — mostly because I don’t care. The clip told me everything I needed to know.

I’m pretty confident I could make $100M work — and I’m a complete idiot. Sure, I’d splurge a little (who wouldn’t?), but I’m also confident the splurge wouldn’t vaporize nine figures. Any time a millionaire complains about money, it just completely falls on deaf ears.
I don’t want to hear it. You’ve already made more than I’ll ever see, and now you’re sitting on a big-time podcast explaining how it might not be enough? Hey man — shut up. Nobody cares.
That’s all I got. Thanks.
