Low Energy George Pickens couldn’t be bothered to give effort in pivotal Cowboys game

George Pickens will always George Pickens. We all knew this day was coming, and sure enough, we got the full display under the bright lights of Thursday night.

With the Cowboys and Lions battling for playoff positioning, both teams essentially walked in knowing the loser was probably done. Just don’t bother explaining that to Pickens, he clearly couldn’t care less.

All night long, there were plays on the table that Pickens could have made… but didn’t. And it was painfully obvious why: effort wasn’t on the menu. With CeeDee Lamb knocked out with a concussion, it was on Pickens to carry the load. He didn’t — and the Cowboys paid for it.

Brother George was basically out there getting some cardio in.

This Dallas outcome was predictable from a mile away. Two-game winning streak, feeling themselves, short week, and then face-planting against a struggling Lions team. George Pickens jogging around like he couldn’t care less was honestly the most expected part of the night.

Now all the Eagles have to do is handle business Monday, and the division is essentially wrapped up.
