I don’t expect anyone outside of the fellas to truly grasp this. The irrational love a man can have for something as simple as a juicer — it’s just one of those inexplicable guy things. No disrespect to women, but this is one of those “you had to be born with it” phenomena. You wouldn’t get it.

Smitty strikes me as a simple dude anyway. Doesn’t say much, shows up, cooks cornerbacks for a living, then keeps it moving. But now he’s unlocked the joy of juicing, and it’s like watching someone discover fire. Fresh apple juice, fresh OJ, maybe toss in some kiwi or lime — the world has opened up for him.

Seeing DeVonta Smith fall head-over-heels for his juicer is genuinely wholesome. It’s the little things that make life worth living. Sometimes that “little thing” is just a juicer — and that’s beautiful.
