This Eagles fan needed a wellness check after loss to Chargers and honestly, I’m offended I didn’t get one too

Following Monday night’s horrendous loss to the LA Chargers, an Eagles fan received a wellness check after posting about the game on Facebook.

There’s nothing wrong with that at all. I’m just a little disappointed that no one cared enough about my well-being to schedule a check-in for me.

Frankly, I’m offended.

To be fair, someone did report an IG story I posted about jumping off a bridge if the Eagles lost. Instagram sent me a notification along with a suicide hotline number. Appreciate it, but it didn’t help.

I didn’t jump off the bridge. I am, however, still extremely pissed.

Now, every time I pass one of the many bridges scattered across Philly, my mind does wander. What a sweet release that would be.

Anyway, the Eagles controlling my every emotion is probably an issue I need to sort out at some point. Not today — but one day. If they win this Sunday, maybe I’ll stop thinking about that bridge for a little while.
