Reports say Cooper DeJean and Nikki Bella are “smitten” as the internet yet again goes crazy

Philadelphia Eagles cornerback Cooper DeJean has apparently found himself in the middle of the celebrity rumor mill, and no, it’s not because of a pick-six or a lockdown performance.

According to TMZ Sports, DeJean has been spending some time with Nikki Bella. The report says the two have gone on a few dates, there’s mutual attraction, but this is not a full-blown relationship. It’s casual. Bella’s priority right now is her career and raising her son, Matteo.

At the same time, a source told the Daily Mail the following:

“She’s smitten by him and playfully talks about him to friends”

“She’s really happy and it’s an exciting time for her – but she is definitely keeping it as casual as possible, for now. She’s just having fun and enjoying the single life,” the insider added. “

“Cooper is in the middle of football season so he can’t do much until it’s over. That’s why they’re keeping it casual and not forcing anything.”

Honestly, I love it.

Official? Not yet at least, but the internet did what it always does and sprinted way past the facts.

Rumors started swirling after Bella was spotted at a couple of Eagles games wearing a DeJean jersey, which in today’s world apparently means you’re either married or engaged by default.

The timing didn’t help either, as Bella finalized her divorce from Artem Chigvintsev in 2024, making people even quicker to jump to conclusions.

Bella herself shut that down pretty quickly.

When asked about the rumors on a December episode of The Nikki and Brie Show, she made it clear just how far off the speculation was.

She said she hadn’t been intimate in a long time and found it wild that people were labeling her based on nothing more than gossip and a jersey sighting.

She even joked that it had been so long since she’d kissed anyone that she wasn’t sure she remembered how.

So… who knows? What I do know is that the internet goes CRAZY anytime these two are mentioned and if the sources over at Daily Mail are true, then we are about to be official.
