Cooper DeJean and Nikki Bella spotted out together in Philly after win, could be America’s next great power couple

Eagles cornerback Cooper DeJean simply cannot be stopped on or off the field. The 22-year-old is following up a stellar rookie season with an excellent sophomore campaign, all while firing off DMs to women across the Delaware Valley. Now rumors link him to WWE Superstar Nikki Bella, 42.

The two have crossed paths a few times this year, with DeJean visiting her at Monday Night RAW and Bella coming to Eagles training camp. Rumors started flying after the wrestler posted a photo cozied up in Coop’s locker. But when the two were pictured out in Philadelphia after the Eagles’ win over the Raiders, the signs became impossible to ignore.

I might be getting ahead of myself, but Cooper DeJean and Nikki Bella could be the next great American power couple:

Wow. Cooper DeJean, I thought I was familiar with your game. In fact, I’ve been a great proponent of your game for years. But, somehow, some way, I’ve managed to underestimate you still.

This is just the latest installment of DeJean being an absolute menace. We’ve covered his antics in the DMs extensively on the site before. You’d think this guy was Lane Kiffin with how he was conducting himself, but at least those girls were age-appropriate. That was, until now.

The 20-year age difference between the two would be the second-largest on the Eagles today. Jeffrey and Tina Lurie take the top spot with 24 years at 74 and 50, respectively. First a pick six in the Super Bowl and now this? What the hell can’t this kid do?

Despite the age difference, it’s hard not to think there’s a chance this budding romance was born in the DMs. In all seriousness, I can pretty much guarantee that’s the case. There’s always a chance that this at least began organically, but if you think they haven’t exchanged messages at any point, then I have beachfront property in Iowa to sell you.

I understand the case for anything romantic is pretty flimsy here, but considering they looked pretty cozy during their night out, it’s not entirely out of the question. If anything, I’d wager there’s a higher chance the rumors are true rather than false.

You could easily say she’s just a big Philly fan, which is very true. But I can guarantee you Cooper DeJean grew up watching Nikki Bella dominate WWE. So the feeling probably goes both ways.

And if they do go public with an actual relationship, I swear they’ll take the nation by storm. America is devoid of power couples at the moment.

Barrack and Michelle? Boring. Bill and Hillary? Murderers. Brad and Angelina? Don’t even get me started.

But Cooper and Nikki, though? I swear to god they’d steal the spotlight from Kylie Jenner and Timotheé Whatshisname in an instant. I’m tired of seeing those two on my timeline.

In the end, none of this really matters, but if there’s any veracity to the rumors, I’m nothing but happy and supportive of the two lovebirds. Plus, Bella previously dated John Cena, one of the greatest wrestlers of all time, so there’s no chance of a Kardashian Curse-adjacent paranormal event tanking his play.

If they’re happy and the Birds keep winning, then do whatever works. Not that they even give a shit about what I have to say, but it’s the sentiment that counts.
