The Eagles OC search discourse is brainrot and Jeff Stoutland is the latest victim

Every day, there’s a new reason why the Eagles haven’t hired an offensive coordinator yet. Today’s excuse? Jeff Stoutland.

Somehow, some way, I’m now supposed to believe the best offensive line coach in the NFL is part of the reason an offensive coordinator wouldn’t want to join the Eagles staff.

When I saw this tweet from Chase Senior, I damn near threw my laptop across the room.

I mean… what are we even talking about here?

I understand the sentiment Senior is pushing. An experienced OC (Mike McDaniel, Brian Daboll, etc.) might want to bring in their own run game coordinator and offensive line coach. Fine. That’s a real thing.

Or — hear me out — they could just be a normal person and recognize the pure genius of Jeff Stoutland and, you know, want to work with him.

Let me put it like this: if Chip Kelly — an egomaniac who snatched organizational control from Howie Roseman — could work with Stoutland, I think McDaniel or Daboll would’ve been just fine.

Stoutland has been here since 2013. He’s worked with three head coaches and seven different offensive coordinators. Every scheme was different, whether the changes were minor or major, and Stoutland still made it work with everyone.

The Eagles OC search has turned into a circus — one created solely by the media

I genuinely feel like I’m starting to lose my mind with the discourse surrounding this team.

Is this the price Eagles fans have to pay for greatness? Just getting bombarded with take after take trying to tell us — the people who follow this team every single day — what we should think?

It feels like I’m in a George Orwell novel. I’m being told by the media to distrust what my own eyes are telling me on a daily basis.

One day Jalen Hurts is the reason nobody wants to come here. The next day it’s Sirianni. Then, when they get bored, they point the finger at Howie and Lurie. Now we’re adding Jeff Stoutland to the list.

We know what went wrong in 2025. It’s not a secret. Kevin Patullo was a fucking retard. And yes, Nick Sirianni deserves blame too for letting it happen. But this whole OC search has turned into a referendum on one of the best-run organizations in modern professional sports.

A franchise that’s been to three Super Bowls in the past decade and won two of them.

And now I’m supposed to believe a team like the Chargers — with a big white quarterback with a cannon who hasn’t accomplished shit, and a head coach whose name recognition is the only reason he has a job — is a better organization just because they landed Mike fucking McDaniel… a guy who got run out of Miami.

MIAMI. A place where the stakes are low and the self-esteem of the fans is even lower.

Get the fuck out of here with this nonsense. It’s complete bullshit. All of it.

The A.J. Brown drama. The anti-Jalen Hurts propaganda. The constant bitching from the local radio station because the team has high expectations, and that might scare off pussy-footed coordinators.

Fuck all of it into oblivion.

Because when we’re in the middle of a media shitstorm like this, we all need to remember one thing: We’re living through the Golden Age of Eagles football — thanks in part to guys like Jeff Stoutland, A.J. Brown, Jalen Hurts, and Nick Sirianni.

You know… all the guys the media would love to see play and coach somewhere else.

It reeks of jealousy. And frankly, it gives me life.

I wake up every day with one thought on my mind: how retarded are the Eagles takes going to be today? And still, I’m amazed at the depths some of these media cocksuckers stoop to.
