Jared McCain Post Trade Comments Daryl Morey

According to Chandler Parsons, Jared McCain is apparently one of the best fighters in the NBA

The Jared McCain saga just added a new chapter and it might be the best one yet.

Chandler Parsons went viral this week after claiming on FanDuel TV’s Run It Back that McCain is one of the legitimate fighters in the NBA.

Not in the sense that he gets into a lot of altercations on the court. In the sense that if it actually went, Jared McCain can go. Parsons compared him to James Johnson, who carried the nickname “Bloodsport” throughout his NBA career, holds a black belt in karate, and was widely considered the single most feared man in the league when it came to actual hand-to-hand combat.

That is not a light comparison to make.

Jared McCain is an elite fighter?

“You know how James Johnson is a fighter? I heard Jared McCain is almost that same level. I heard he’s not the one to mess with. 1000 percent true. That dude can fight.”

Jared McCain. The guy with the TikTok dances. The colorful nail polish. The 6-foot-3, 195-pound frame that once generated an unflattering weightlifting photo that the internet had a field day with. Apparently a legitimate fighter who should not be messed with under any circumstances.

This is the most Jared McCain story imaginable. The guy keeps revealing new layers and every single one of them is more entertaining than the last.

Nikola Jokic had words for Lu Dort and things got physical fast

And since we are here, let us revisit the situation one more time. Daryl Morey traded Jared McCain to the Oklahoma City Thunder, the defending NBA champions, and called it “selling high.” McCain has averaged 11.8 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 0.9 assists in 10 games for Oklahoma City while shooting efficiently off the bench for the best team in the league. He had two 20-point games. He is 22 years old and getting better. And he is apparently also capable of handling himself if the situation calls for it.

Morey sold high on a 22-year-old who produces for the defending champions, fights like James Johnson, and does TikTok dances in his spare time. Fire him.
