While he admits we’re there to defend Israel above all else, he doesn’t frame it like it’s a problem. He’s fully on board with sending American troops to the Middle East to defend a country most Americans don’t give a shit about. His wife even pushes back on him over it — and she’s the Jewish one in the family. She also seems to be the only one making much sense.

Whatever your stance is on the whole situation, one thing is clear: the reasoning this administration keeps giving us doesn’t pass the smell test. It seems to change every time they speak. Everyone knows what it’s really about — resources, money, and, for some reason, defending a country that spies on us more than any other sovereign nation. Makes total sense.

I’ll leave it at that before I actually start getting pissed off. Thanks for sharing your thoughts, Skip Bayless. We were all anxiously awaiting them.
