I wish we had the kind of sway TMZ does. This isn’t even a real story. If you actually click the link, you get four or five paragraphs that basically just describe what Mrs. Kelce’s house looks like and mention that she’s planning to replace nine windows and six doors. That’s it. Yet somehow, it went completely viral. Not because anyone actually cared, but for the exact opposite reason.

Everyone just started dunking on the story. None of it was directed at Donna, of course. She’s a saint. The backlash was aimed squarely at TMZ for deciding this was something worth blasting out to the world.

But I guess this is where we’re at as a society now. A story about Donna Kelce getting home renovations ends up dominating internet discourse for an entire weekend. Are we really that desperate for a little positivity that we’re living vicariously through a 73-year-old woman?

Apparently, the answer is yes.
