Tyreek Hill AI payment story isn’t real, but it shows exactly where this is going

Tyreek Hill isn’t exactly who you expect to push AI innovation, but as an avid Claude user, I respect it when I see it.

Now, to be clear, the clip floating around about Hill using Claude to automate his child support payments isn’t actually real. But here’s the thing — it could be.

That’s what people are missing.

The idea that an AI could automatically send out payments on the 1st and 15th every month isn’t some far-off concept. That’s basic automation. You could set that up right now with the right tools, and Claude could absolutely be part of that workflow.

When people picture the future of AI, they usually jump straight to the dystopian stuff. Everyone out of work, dark skies, The Matrix-type scenarios. In reality, it’s probably going to look a lot more like this. People using AI to handle the repetitive, annoying tasks they never wanted to deal with in the first place.

That’s where this fits in.

There are hundreds of real use cases already. Building websites, apps, managing workflows, organizing data — whatever you need. Claude is getting a ton of buzz right now for a reason. It’s not hype for no reason, it’s because people are actually finding ways to use it.

So even if the Tyreek Hill example isn’t real, the concept behind it is.

You can argue against AI all you want. It’s not going anywhere. If anything, it’s only getting more embedded in everyday life. Either you figure out how to use it, or you fall behind, even if it starts with something as simple as automating payments.
