Eagles assign jersey numbers to new additions ahead of 2026 season

The Eagles dropped a full list of jersey numbers for their offseason additions on Thursday, giving us our first real look at how this new group is going to look on the field.

Itโ€™s nothing groundbreaking, but it does give a snapshot of roster turnover and where everyone slots in heading into 2026.

Eagles Jersey Numbers for New Additions

Hereโ€™s how the Eagles are lining everyone up:

  • Hollywood Brown โ€” 0
  • Riq Woolen โ€” 2
  • Tank Bigsby โ€” 8
  • Elijah Moore โ€” 13
  • Andy Dalton โ€” 14
  • Arnold Ebiketie โ€” 17
  • Marcus Epps โ€” 29
  • Jonathan Jones โ€” 32
  • Dameon Pierce โ€” 39
  • J.T. Gray โ€” 48
  • Johnny Mundt โ€” 83
  • Stone Smartt โ€” 87

Most of these are new faces, but there are a couple updates mixed in as well.

Eagles Number Changes Worth Noting

A few quick takeaways from the Eaglesโ€™ number shuffle:

  • Tank Bigsby goes from 37 to 8, which is a clear upgrade. Low number, skill position, looks the part.
  • Marcus Epps flips from 39 to 29, minor change but worth noting.

Eagles Jersey Conflicts and Leftovers

Some of these numbers werenโ€™t first choices, and you can tell.

Hollywood Brown is the best example. Heโ€™s worn 15, 5, and 2 in his career, but none of those were available in Philly. So he lands on 0, which has quietly become a rotating door since the NFL allowed it again.

Riq Woolen had a similar situation. He wore 27 in Seattle, but that belongs to Quinyon Mitchell now. So Woolen takes 2, a number thatโ€™s been passed around a bit since Darius Slay left.

Thatโ€™s how this usually goes. You donโ€™t always get what you want, especially on a roster thatโ€™s been as stable as the Eagles.

Eagles Keep It Simple With Andy Dalton

No surprises here. Andy Dalton stays at 14, which heโ€™s worn his entire 15-year career.

Doesnโ€™t matter what team heโ€™s on, Dalton isnโ€™t changing it now. The last Eagle to wear 14 was Kenny Gainwell, so it was available and easy.

Thereโ€™s no hidden message in jersey numbers, but it does reinforce how much turnover the Eagles had this offseason.

New skill guys, new defensive pieces, veteran depth at quarterback. Now theyโ€™ve all got numbers, which means weโ€™re one step closer to seeing how this roster actually looks on the field.

For now, itโ€™s just a list. But in a few months, these are the numbers youโ€™ll be watching every Sunday.
