The Internet Remembers: Dianna Russini’s credibility crisis has been years in the making

Dianna Russini has been getting dragged all over social media today, and honestly, good. It probably sucks having the entire internet dissect rumors about your professional and personal life, even when some of them aren’t true. Must be how AJ Brown and Jalen Hurts felt when Russini was out there spreading gossip about them with Mike Vrabel’s cock halfway down her throat.

Apologies if that’s too graphic for you. But you didn’t have to be here. I’m assuming you saw the cover photo, laughed, and clicked anyway. And now here you are, witnessing what true, sincere vindication looks like. Welcome, brother.

On Tuesday, photos surfaced of Dianna Russini and Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel frolicking around Sedona together, at a luxury hotel no less. A weird place to go just to “hang out,” but whatever. Both of them released statements saying it was nothing, blah blah blah. We all know what was going on. They were banging.

Russini tried to claim they were with six other people, yet somehow not one of those six people made it into a single photo with them. She obviously thinks we’re retarded, which tracks if you’ve paid attention to the baseless propaganda she pushes that people usually eat right up. Not this time, ya stinky bitch.

The pictures alone paint a pretty damning image, especially when it comes to her journalistic integrity. If this were the only messy moment on her résumé, maybe the story would’ve died in a few days. Sadly for her, she’s been around the block for more than a decade, and the internet wasted no time digging up all the clips, stories, and general nastiness she’s been involved in.

Let’s start with the first one that started making the rounds.

Reportedly sucking off Washington GM Scot McCloughan in 2015

In 2015, shortly after Dianna Russini joined ESPN, Jessica McCloughan, wife of then-Redskins GM Scot McCloughan, publicly accused Russini of having an inappropriate relationship with her husband.

This wasn’t some message-board fan fiction or anonymous-source garbage. The accusations were specific, public, and attached to a real name in real time. ESPN backed Dianna Russini, and Jessica McCloughan later retracted the comments, calling them unfounded. Fair enough. But none of that changes the basic reality that this controversy was very real, very public, and has been sitting on the record for ten years for anyone willing to look.

Rumor has it, she was Sean McVay’s side chick during his time in Washington, too

Dianna Russini was apparently all over dick while reporting in DC.

Another piece of internet evidence that keeps getting passed around is the screenshot circulating from social media that references an old rumor involving Sean McVay, reporters around Washington, and Dianna Russini by name.

These rumors were not invented yesterday by Eagles fans looking for a new villain. Variations of this story have been floating around online for years, tied back to the same general time period and the same Washington media ecosystem.

What makes the McVay angle stand out even more now is how often Russini herself has kept him in the middle of her reporting orbit. In January 2023, she reported that McVay had informed members of the Rams organization that he would be staying on as head coach. In March 2024, she posted that agents and free agents viewed McVay as the best recruiter over the phone and that whatever he says leaves a strong impression.

Then in March 2026, she reported that the Rams had discussed trading for AJ Brown before following that up a week later with a larger report that both the Rams and Patriots had serious conversations with the Eagles about Brown.

That is where people started connecting dots. McVay keeps coming up. The Rams keep coming up. The Patriots keep coming up. And Dianna Russini keeps being the one in the middle of those storylines, especially when it comes to trying to breathe life into the same tired AJ Brown trade garbage that Eagles fans have had to hear for more than a year. When you line all of it up together, it is not hard to see why people are going back through these old screenshots and old rumors with a very different level of interest now.

Possibly banging David Wright, who knows why

Deadspin took its own shot at Dianna Russini years ago with a crude blurb tying her to David Wright.

The item identified her as a New York TV reporter and former George Mason soccer player, then pointed to a New York Daily News report claiming the two had been seen around town together. What really gave the blurb its legs, though, was Wright’s reported response: “Who?” That line turned the whole thing from standard tabloid chatter into a quote people remembered, because it added another layer of embarrassment and dismissal to Russini’s name being thrown into the gossip cycle.

Dianna Russini also hates her husband. Pray for that man

Probably the funniest part of all this are the clips resurfacing of Dianna Russini just talking shit on her husband. I mean, I don’t even know what to say, you just have to watch them to believe them.

Fellas, always trust your gut when it comes to women. The signs are always there.

So where do we go from here? I will say this: it was refreshing not having to scroll through endless AJ Brown or Jalen Hurts bullshit today. First time in what feels like forever I can say that. Probably because Russini was too busy trying to save her marriage.

My overall take on this whole thing is simple: I don’t give a shit if two consenting adults are having an affair. Do whatever you want. I truly do not care. But given the circumstances, and given how this entire AJ Brown saga has played out, she should never be allowed to report on anything again. Her journalistic integrity — which we already knew never existed — is completely shot now. You don’t come back from this. At least not in the same role. She can start a podcast, talk ball, fuck any dude she wants, all fair game. But she cannot be taken seriously as a reporter anymore. It’s over.

Dianna, you had a good run, and I know this is a tough time for you. You’ve been through a lot… of dick! Ha! I’ll be here all night. Have a great rest of your week, everyone. Cheers to Dianna Russini’s downfall.

  1. Oh great. A lecture on journalistic integrity from someone who thinks it’s acceptable to use the word “retard.”
