The Count is Now 11: Another UFO-Linked Scientist Found Dead After Warning Her Life Was in Danger
We have been covering this story since the first Daily Mail report dropped and every time we think the list is complete another name gets added. The count is now 11.
Amy Eskridge was a scientist working on anti-gravity research. She was just 34 years old when she allegedly died from a self-inflicted gunshot to the head in Huntsville, Alabama.
The Count Is Now 11: Another UFO-Linked Scientist Found Dead After Warning Her Life Was in Danger
She died in 2022 but is now being linked to 10 other deaths or disappearances of people with ties to America’s space or nuclear programs in recent years. Before her death, Eskridge warned that her life was in danger.
Trump has promised an investigation into the cases over fears that a foreign government may be targeting U.S. scientists. U.S. national security experts are on edge and they should be.

Last week, Steven Garcia was added to the list. Garcia, 48, was last seen on August 28th, 2025 walking out of his Albuquerque home on foot in a green camouflage shirt and shorts just after 9 AM. He was carrying a handgun. He has not been seen since. An anonymous source told the Daily Mail that Garcia was a government contractor at the Kansas City National Security Campus facility in Albuquerque, a site that manufactures more than 80 percent of all non-nuclear components used in the military’s nuclear weapons. Garcia reportedly served as a property custodian overseeing tens to hundreds of millions of dollars worth of equipment and assets, some of them classified, with a top security clearance and broad access to the entire facility. The source described it as a very high-level oversight position for all the site’s assets.
Albuquerque police noted that Garcia may be a danger to himself. The anonymous source disputed that completely. They described Garcia as a very stable person and said the possibility of him being targeted by foreign intelligence services makes the most sense given who he was and what he knew.
With Amy Eskridge now included, the count is 11 people with documented ties to America’s nuclear or space programs who have died or disappeared under suspicious circumstances since mid-2023. Four of them vanished on foot from their homes in almost identical fashion. Here is every case.
The Full List
Michael David Hicks — NASA JPL research scientist. Died July 30th, 2023. Age 59. No cause of death disclosed. No health issues mentioned in any obituaries. He published over 80 scientific papers and was directly involved with the DART Project and the Deep Space 1 Mission. NASA has never commented on his death.
Frank Maiwald — NASA JPL Principal Researcher, a designation reserved for scientists making outstanding individual contributions to their fields. Died July 4th, 2024 in Los Angeles. Age 61. No autopsy. No cause of death. No public statement from NASA or JPL.
Monica Reza — NASA JPL Director of Materials Processing. Disappeared June 22nd, 2025 while hiking in the Angeles National Forest just months after starting her role. Two friends were thirty feet away. They looked back and she was gone.
Melissa Casias — Administrative assistant at Los Alamos National Laboratory with top security clearance. Vanished June 26th, 2025. Both her work and personal phones were found at home wiped clean after a factory reset.
Anthony Chavez — Former Los Alamos National Laboratory worker. Disappeared May 4th, 2025. No explanation. No resolution.
Major General Neil McCasland — Oversaw the Air Force’s $2.2 billion science and technology program at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base and appeared in 2016 Wikileaks emails as an advisor on UFO disclosure. Walked out of his New Mexico home on February 27th, 2026 without his phone, wearable devices, or prescription glasses. Has not been seen since.
Nuno Loureiro — Director of the Plasma Science and Fusion Center at MIT and reportedly on the verge of a breakthrough in plasma physics and fusion energy. Assassinated at his home in Brookline, Massachusetts on December 15th, 2025. The gunman was identified as a former classmate from Portugal.
Carl Grillmair — 67-year-old astrophysicist whose work was heavily supported by NASA JPL and who was connected to missile tracking technology used by the Air Force. Shot and killed on his front porch at 6 AM on February 16th, 2026.
Jason Thomas — Pharmaceutical researcher testing cancer treatments at Novartis. Found dead in a Massachusetts lake on March 17th, 2026 after disappearing three months earlier. No foul play suspected. Cause of death still undetermined.
Steven Garcia — Nuclear weapons facility contractor at KCNSC Albuquerque. Vanished August 28th, 2025. Has not been seen since.
Amy Eskridge — Anti-gravity researcher. Died in 2022 from an alleged self-inflicted gunshot to the head in Huntsville, Alabama at 34 years old. Had warned her life was in danger before her death.
What This Means
Three of these cases involve direct connections to NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory. Hicks worked there for 24 years. Maiwald was a JPL Principal. Reza was the incoming Director of Materials Processing. Three people from the same institution and NASA has not commented on any of them.
Eleven people. NASA JPL. Los Alamos. MIT. The Air Force. A nuclear weapons manufacturing facility. Pharmaceutical research with Pentagon connections. Dead or missing across a roughly 33-month window with the same institutional fingerprints running through all of it.
Former FBI Assistant Director Chris Swecker told the Daily Mail that multiple foreign intelligence services including China, Russia, Pakistan, India, Iran, and North Korea have been targeting Americans with sensitive technology knowledge for decades. Tennessee Congressman Tim Burchett said the numbers in these specific research areas are very high and that we should not trust our government to be transparent about what is happening.
This is a conspiracy. Eleven cases with this level of institutional overlap on UFOs, anti-gravity, jet propulsion, and other high-level secrets in this compressed a timeframe does not happen randomly. Someone or something is systematically removing the people who know the most about America’s most sensitive programs and the agencies responsible for investigating it are either unable or unwilling to connect the dots publicly.
The number keeps going up. Pay attention.

Little known fact, Lizardo also was a high-profile individual at JPL before being drafted into the MLB. He was instrumental in the reverse engineering of non-human technology.
