JP Morgan lawsuit takes a wild turn after John Doe is reportedly unmasked
The JP Morgan lawsuit that went viral this week just took a pretty massive turn.
According to the New York Post, the anonymous “John Doe” behind the bombshell lawsuit against JP Morgan executive Lorna Hajdini has been identified by multiple sources as Chirayu Rana, a 35-year-old former JP Morgan staffer who now works as a principal at Bregal Sagemount.
The original lawsuit accused Hajdini, a 37-year-old executive director in JP Morgan’s leveraged finance division, of sexually harassing Rana, drugging him with Rohypnol and Viagra, threatening his bonus, and coercing him into sex acts over a period of months.
Now, the Post says allies of Hajdini are calling the entire thing a “complete fabrication.”
And by the looks of it, public opinion stands with JP Morgan too. Not only does everyone now want to work there because of their outstanding benefit package, everyone hates when people make shit up for attention. Which is what this seems to be.
JP Morgan Executive Denies The Allegations
Hajdini issued a statement through her lawyers denying the claims.
“Lorna categorically denies the allegations,” the statement said. “She never engaged in any inappropriate conduct with this individual of any kind and has never even been to the location where the alleged sexual assault supposedly took place.”
The original lawsuit claimed Hajdini showed up at Rana’s apartment and sexually assaulted him. Her side is now saying she was never even at the place where the assault allegedly happened.
So yeah, this went from insane to somehow even more insane. The dude, for one reason or another, decided to make up racial slurs about his own wife and shit on her for not having huge knockers at the same time. What a guy.
The Post also reports that the Daily Mail’s original story cited a court document that has since been withdrawn for “corrections.” The Post called it a “now-retracted court document” and said the filing had been deleted.
That does not automatically mean every allegation is false. But it is a pretty important detail when the first story involved accusations this graphic, this career-destroying, and this fucking wild.
JP Morgan Says Its Investigation Found No Merit
JP Morgan is also denying the claims.
A bank spokesperson told the Post that JP Morgan conducted an internal investigation through HR and in-house lawyers. According to the article, the review included team phone records and emails.
“Following an investigation, we don’t believe there’s any merit to these claims,” the spokesperson said.
The bank also said Rana refused to participate in that investigation.
“While numerous employees cooperated with the investigation, the complainant refused to participate and has declined to provide facts that would be central to support his allegations,” the spokesperson said.
Again, that is JP Morgan’s side of it. Rana did not respond to the Post’s requests for comment.
The Bonus Threat Claim Gets More Complicated
One of the biggest claims in the original lawsuit was that Hajdini allegedly used her power at JP Morgan to threaten Rana’s bonus and promotion.
The Post’s follow-up pushes back on that part.
According to the article, Rana did not report to Hajdini. The two were colleagues on the leveraged finance team. Hajdini reportedly reported to managing director Brandon Graffeo, while Rana was supervised by another managing director, Jon Wolter.
The Post says that means Hajdini would have had no sway over Rana’s annual bonus.
That is obviously a major piece of this story. Because the entire lawsuit, at least from the original reporting, leaned heavily on the idea that Hajdini had power over Rana’s future at JP Morgan.
If she had no direct control over his bonus or promotion, that does not erase every allegation. But it does make one of the central claims a hell of a lot messier.
Sources Say Rana Tried To Negotiate A Huge Exit Deal
The Post also reports that Rana filed an internal complaint in May 2025 accusing JP Morgan of race and gender-based harassment and abuse of power.
According to sources cited by the Post, Rana later tried to negotiate a payoff in the “millions” to leave the company.
That is another detail that will get picked apart.
Because once money enters the picture, everyone starts choosing teams. Some people will say it shows motive. Others will say someone who went through workplace abuse would obviously seek damages.
Either way, it is now part of the public story.
Hajdini Allies Are Pushing Back Hard
The Post quotes one Hajdini ally who did not hold back.
“He has tarnished her with a complete fabrication,” the person said.
Friends of Hajdini also described her as “a top performer” at JP Morgan. The article notes that her LinkedIn profile says she volunteers with Minds Matter, a nonprofit that helps underprivileged students pursue college.
The Post also included background on Rana, describing him as a former basketball player and Rutgers graduate who has worked at Houlihan Lokey, Credit Suisse, TCG Capital Markets, Morgan Stanley, Carlyle Group, JP Morgan, and now Bregal Sagemount.
So now we have the lawsuit. We have JP Morgan denying it. We have Hajdini denying it. We have sources identifying the anonymous plaintiff. We have claims the original filing was withdrawn for corrections. And we have both sides trying to shape what this story becomes.
Wall Street, baby. Just a normal workplace where everyone wears Patagonia vests and the lawsuits read like a deleted scene from hell.
JP Morgan Lawsuit Still Has No Trial Date
For now, no trial date has been set.
The Post also notes that lawsuits can be reported on because court filings are protected by absolute privilege. That means media outlets can fairly report what is in a lawsuit, even if the allegations later turn out to be false or malicious.
That is why the original story exploded so fast. The allegations were in a court filing. The details were disgusting. The internet did what the internet does.
Now the follow-up is here, and it makes the entire JP Morgan lawsuit look a lot less clean than it did 24 hours ago.
Maybe Rana’s claims survive. Maybe Hajdini’s denial holds up. Maybe JP Morgan’s internal investigation becomes a key part of the case. Maybe this whole thing turns into a nasty legal war where every side looks like shit by the end.
But right now, the facts are simple.
A former JP Morgan employee filed a graphic lawsuit under a fake name. The Post says that employee is Chirayu Rana. Hajdini denies everything. JP Morgan says it found no merit. And the original filing that sparked the viral frenzy has already been withdrawn for corrections.
Just a weird situation all around here. As soon as it dropped, it already felt outrageous. The claims were so vivid that it was hard to believe it could actually happen. It was like a sexual fantasy just being played out in every guy’s head. Now, all eyes are on this dude. Can’t wait to see what happens next.

Haha he’s such an idiot, watch JP Morgan scorch the earth with this to make an example out of him. Also, are we going to ignore the fact he publicly called his wife “fish face”? Yikes. Hate to be part of that family dinner.
Not to be mean but if we’re going to be calling out people’s faces publicly, the guy has the nose and facial expression as Nigel Thornbury.
I take that back Nigel Thornbury was a good man and didn’t deserve that.
