Eric Trump asked Daniel Cormier if UFC 250 fights were rigged, then blamed AI when it backfired
The UFC held its long-awaited 250 event at the White House on Sunday for Donald Trump’s birthday, only for it to get somewhat undermined by his son, Eric.
With the fights already underway, Daniel Cormier, one of UFC’s three main commentators, posted screenshots of a DM conversation with Eric Trump. In the back-and-forth, Eric point-blank asked Cormier whether any of the fights were rigged so he could place a bet on them. Cormier rightfully told Eric Trump to kick rocks, then posted the screenshots, prefacing that he knew he’d catch backlash for it.
Daniel Cormier and Eric Trump’s DM conversation:
So far, this is all going down a logical path. But nothing ever ends logically when it comes to the Trumps.
Cormier then deleted the post, because it turns out he too is a coward. Then Eric started playing cleanup.
First, he said he had never reached out to Daniel.
Standard operating procedure here. Deny, deny, deny. That’s how they roll.
But then it just got weird. Eric Trump’s next post made absolutely no sense, and I’m still trying to figure out how he thought this was going to work. In plain English, Eric claims the screenshots are AI and once again says he’s never spoken to Cormier. But he also confirms Cormier posted them, and since Cormier deleted the post, that must mean they were fake. So Cormier was duped by an AI generation of his own direct messages.

Cormier chimed in as well, tweeting out, “Are people really this dumb?” — obviously trying to backtrack everything. Hey brother, you’re the guy who posted alleged AI-generated images of your own messages and thought they were real, or so you claim. That would make you objectively one of the dumbest people on Earth. Either you’re lying or you actually believed it. Pick one.
Again, none of this adds up, and I genuinely don’t understand why Eric would even run from the allegations like this. Just own up to it. We all know you won’t face any kind of punishment anyway. I don’t even think you can get in trouble for what you did. You just did something stupid — that’s not a crime. I mean, you look like a complete dickbag, but hey, that’s never stopped your family before!
