LeBron James shares video supporting Jaylen Brown, more proof he wants to be a 76er

LeBron James loves playing this game. And by this game, I mean playing with all of our emotions while he decides which team he’s going to play for next.

From the Golf Galaxy video to his private jet being in Philadelphia, not to mention Rich Paul talking up the 76ers like they’re God’s chosen team to represent LeBron James, the GOAT has made some pretty strong signals that he’s interested in playing here. Or maybe I’m just delusional, both are in play here. Nonetheless, I’ll play along because, in the end, it doesn’t even matter. Shoutout Chester Bennington.

This morning, this cloudy, overcast morning in the Delaware Valley, LeBron James fired off this video on his IG story. In the video, Austin Rivers shares a resounding defense of Jaylen Brown, with James writing, “PUT A FKN NAME ON IT.” Pretty sure that’s code for, “I want to play with this guy!” Could be wrong, just going with my gut here.

Just do it, man. Just come here, bring a championship to Philly, and ride off into the sunset. This is how it was always meant to be. LeBron was always meant to finish The Process. It was written in the stars, authored by Sam Hinkie himself.

Then as a cherry on top, bring back Ben Simmons too. Let him run the second unit off the bench, play some defense, grab some boards. It’s a beautiful thing to imagine.

LeBron must also consider one other very, very important aspect to this whole thing — the GOAT debate. Maybe it isn’t even a debate anymore. If he came here and won another chip, it certainly wouldn’t be. But I don’t know if he truly understands how huge it would be to have Philly on his side of the debate. We own sports discourse in this country, it’s as simply as that.

Do what must be done, LeBron. Come to Philly.
