Jalen Hurts is turning heads with his speed at Eagles camp
If there is one thing Eagles fans absolutely did not need to hear coming out of training camp, it’s that Jalen Hurts looks faster than ever.
And yet, here we are. The Eagles have spent the summer installing a new offense under Sean Mannion, and while there have understandably been plenty of questions about what the new-look offense will actually look like, one thing that has stood out is QB’s speed.

"When I'm watching and I'm running [after him], it's like a movie, it feels like I'm going slow. He be moving man," said DT Jalen Carter.…
The bigger takeaway is that this isn’t just Jalen Carter talking up his quarterback. Defensive coordinator Vic Fangio has noticed it too.
Fangio said Hurts looks faster during camp and acknowledged that the defense has had multiple moments where they thought they had Hurts dead to rights, only for him to escape.

He said he didn’t make any major changes to his offseason training and doesn’t feel noticeably different than he has in previous years. Interesting. I mean, you all have seen the video clips and now heard or read the quotes from his teammates. It’s quite clear he’s in better shape than he already was. At least lighter/leaner.
Anyhow, I can’t contain my excitement anymore for this season. The vibes just feel really good, no distractions, and somehow this team that had people in the media and the miserable people on social media labeling them a “super team” are no longer doing that.
In fact, they feel under-looked right now. Good. Just how we like it.
