Eagles Road Trip Guide: Nashville – Week 2

If you’re planning to make the trip to Nashville to watch the Eagles take on the Titans in Week 2, but have no idea what to do when you get there, you’ve come to the right place.

Of course, if you want to skip the planning and let the professionals handle everything, you’d be silly not to book with Phans of Philly. This one came in at No. 2 on my 2026 road trip rankings, and the only reason it isn’t No. 1 is that London doesn’t come around on the schedule all that often. Nashville is one of the best weekend cities in America, and the Titans have almost nothing to do with that. I mean they are a god awful football team.

Week 1 didn’t change that math either. The Birds got out of the Linc with a 24-22 win over Washington on an offense that put up 10 first downs, the fewest of any team in the league. Tennessee opened the Robert Saleh era by getting handled 23-10 by the Jets. Philadelphia is a touchdown road favorite and I’d wager this is the week the offense finds a few answers. The Phans hotels are right downtown, a short walk from Broadway and about 15 minutes on foot from the stadium, so everything below is built around not needing a car all weekend. If you’re going to be hammered

I’ve compiled five spots to check out in Nashville as well as a couple pro tips so you can maximize your enjoyment before watching the Birds on Sunday.

Tin Roof Broadway – 316 Broadway

Start here, because this is the official Eagles Landings bar in Nashville and Phans is working with them all weekend. Live music on two stages, a rooftop patio, cheap enough drinks, specials rolling out through the weekend, and a room that will be wearing midnight green by Saturday afternoon. Get there early, because it fills up fast and the whole point of a road trip is finding the other lunatics who flew in for this.

Drew Smith and Brian Cass are going to be boots on the ground for this one, and this is where you’re most likely to find them. Say hello, buy them a drink, and do not ask them their opinions on geopolitics unless you want to be cornered for an indeterminate amount of time and be exposed to some radical new ideas.

Hattie B’s Hot Chicken – Midtown, 112 19th Ave S

You cannot come to Nashville and not eat hot chicken, you sick little freak. Hattie B’s is the one everybody talks about, and by estimation the hype is well-earned. Order the “hot” and not a step above it unless you have something to prove, which, knowing this fanbase, you probably do. The line is long, it moves, and them greens and waffles are worth the wait on their own.

Legends Corner – 428 Broadway

If you only do one honky tonk, do this one. Album covers wallpapering every inch, a wall mural of every country legend who matters, and a crowd that’s actually there for the music instead of a bachelorette scavenger hunt. No cover charge, ever. It’s the most authentically Nashville room on the strip, which is a low bar on Broadway, but Legends clears it easily.

Monell’s – Germantown, 1235 6th Ave N

Family-style Southern food where they sit you at a table with total strangers and pass bowls around until somebody taps out. Fried chicken, biscuits, sweet tea, the whole operation. About a 10-minute ride from downtown and worth every second of it.

Pelato – Germantown, 1300 3rd Ave N

When you need a night that isn’t screaming at you, this is the move. Small plates, excellent pasta, and a room that feels like it belongs in a real city instead of a country music theme park. Same quick ride as Monell’s. Get the vodka radiatori and the potato croquettes and thank me later.

Pro Tips:

• You can walk to the stadium, and you should. The John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge runs from downtown straight across the Cumberland to Nissan Stadium. Nashville traffic on a gameday is genuinely brutal and Ubers surge hard at night, which is exactly why Phans put everyone downtown in the first place.
• Broadway is the tourist strip and it knows it. Germantown is where you go for an actual dinner, and it’s close enough that you’re not committing to anything by leaving.
• Book Monell’s and Pelato ahead. Germantown fills up on fall weekends and walking in on a Saturday night is a coin flip you’ll lose.

Even if you’ve already booked your tickets, hotel, and travel, you’ve still gotta tailgate before the Eagles game, right? That’s what I thought. You can still book tailgate only or tailgate and game ticket options with Phans, too.
