WATCH: Paul from Quakertown delivers a beautiful hype speech to Eagles fans flying to Nashville for Week 2

It’s no secret that Eagles fans are flooding down to Nashville for the Week 2 matchup against the Titans. Social media and Broadway itself are absolutely overrun with Birds fans, and even today there are fresh recruits touching down on the ground.

I will say that nobody, and I mean nobody, has captured the energy of this whole thing quite like a certain psychopath named Paul from Quakertown, who caught up with the local news before leaving PHL.

Honestly, Paul has some good points in there. We’ve been here since Thursday, I can 100% confirm that the Eagles takeover is in full effect. You cannot move a single inch on Broadway without running into someone from Philly screaming “Go Birds” at the top of their lungs.

It’s everywhere and it’s absolutely beautiful. Thanks to Phans of Philly, it’s exactly why we’re here in the first place. I have yet to actually run into Paul myself, which is a genuine tragedy, but I would absolutely love to have a few beers with this guy as soon as humanly possible. If anyone spots Paul from Quakertown out on Broadway, point him in my direction. That’s a man I need to share a drink with.

I will say this, though. Paul seemed to cave a little under the bright lights of NBC, because he pointed to the offensive line as the biggest concern on the team right now, and, well, he’s not wrong. So I’ll let Paul off the hook for going a touch negative in the moment. The nerves of live TV get the best of all of us. Either way, you’ve got to love the energy.

This is what being an Eagles fan is all about. The Liberty Line hopped on a plane at 5:55 AM Thursday morning, and somehow, someway, it’s still only Saturday.

Time is moving differently down here. We’re collectively trying to survive a brutally hot Day 3 so we can bring this exact energy to Nissan Stadium on Sunday. The heat is no joke, but we’ll gut it out, because that’s what we do.

Luckily, Phans of Philly continues to make all of this incredibly easy on us, literally planning every single thing on this trip and every other Eagles trip they run.

All we had to do was show up and make the flight, which is an incredibly easy thing to do… most of the time. We’ve all had our rough mornings at the airport.
