The Eagles are down so bad that even Commanders players are guaranteeing wins against them

The Philadelphia Eagles and their fans and in the middle of a humiliation ritual.

Jalen Hurts is done for the year with blood clots, half of their offense is injured, the defense is severly underperforming, and Nick Sirianni is still the head coach. They’re 2-5 and riding a five game losing streak heading into their Week 8 matchup against Washington.

The Commanders aren’t doing much better this season. They’re 1-4-1. Nevertheless, their players evidently feel pretty confident with the Eagles next up on their schedule.

Arik Robertson even guaranteed a victory!

To be fair, this doesn’t sound like a dig at the Birds to me. He’s doing the classic, “We are just beating ourselves,” thing. Still, in no world should the Commanders be guaranteeing victories over the Birds.

I’ve accepted this year for what it is — a season from hell. It’s not going to get any better. I genuinely don’t care if we win another game this year, but we absolutely need to beat these bums on Sunday. I’ll tolerate a lot. Random Commanders players guaranteeing a win against my team? That’s where I draw the line.
