76ers trade Josh Richarson to Dallas for Seth Curry

The 2020 NBA Draft is still happening and the 76ers have yet to disappoint. After trading Al Horford to OKC, the Sixers drafted Kentucky Guard Tyrese Maxey with the 21st pick. Now, the Sixers just pulled off a trade with the Dallas Mavericks to bring Seth Curry to Philadelphia.
Seth Curry is one of the NBA’s premier perimeter shooters and will be a great fit alongside Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons. Curry averaged 12.5 Points per game in 2020 on 45% from 3. Curry is on a 3 year $24 million contract through 2023.
Seth is a perfect move for the 76ers and will likely be the missing fit that was needed on the outside. Since JJ Redick’s departure last offseason, the 3 point shot has been hurting in Philly.
Philadelphia will also be sending their 36th pick to Dallas in return for Curry.
