Paul Reed leaves Sixers to join G-League bubble

Sixers two-way big Paul Reed is heading to the G-League bubble, according to reports. Reed has been an exciting project for the Sixers and has some time to work on his game more extensively in Orlando. The G-League bubble starts in two weeks, with the Sixers affiliate the Delaware Blue Coats leaving tomorrow.
Reed was able to showcase his game a few weeks ago when several players were sidelined with COVID-19. During those games, Paul played very aggressively and was able to create some great opportunities through it. Extensive time with the Bluecoats will be huge for Reed and allow him to develop his game without the NBA’s stress. During his time with the Sixers, Reed averaged 3.5 points and 2 rebounds in 11 minutes.
Both two-way players for the 76ers are heading to the bubble. Guard Rayjon Tucker was signed four days ago and replaced rookie Dakota Mathias as the second two-way player. The bubble runs only through March 9th, so both players will be back with the Sixers shortly.
