Report: 76ers sign guard Rayjon Tucker to two-way contract

Today the 76ers decided on their second two-way player, signing guard Rayjon Tucker. Tucker fills the spot left by the waiving of rookie Dakota Mathias four days ago. Tucker won’t see any time in Philadelphia and will join the Blue Coats in the Orlando bubble.

Before landing in Philly, Tucker was previously in Utah. In 20 games played, Rayjon was a defensive guard for the Jazz off the bench and averaged eight minutes a game. The 23-year-old provides another older presence for the Blue Coats, joining another guard in Frank Mason.

Former Sixer Dakota Mathias has yet to be picked up by an NBA roster following his waiving. The G-League bubble starts in early February and runs until March 9th. In other Sixers news, former 76er Norvel Pelle will be joining the Brooklyn Nets to add a much needed defensive presence under the rim.
