Two Flyers games have been postponed this week due to COVID-19 protocols

The Philadelphia Flyers will have both home games scheduled for Thursday and Saturday against the New Jersey Devils this week postponed due to the NHL’s COVID protocols. Makeup dates for these games have yet to be determined.
The New Jersey Devils had 16 players on the league’s COVID protocol list as of yesterday.
Flyers defensemen Travis Sanheim did not play in yesterday’s 7-4 win against the Washington Capitals due to COVID protocols. The rest of the Flyers team were tested and produced negative results ahead of the game yesterday, which is good news for the team moving forward.
The Flyers did practice today and Tuesday’s game against the Capitals is still scheduled to play. After that, they will not have another game scheduled until Sunday when they visit the New York Rangers.
