The Eagles have released DeSean Jackson

The Philadelphia Eagles fallout continues as it appears they are moving on from wide receiver DeSean Jackson. It should come as no surprise that the Philadelphia Eagles are parting ways with Jackson, who battled injuries since returning to the Eagles two years ago. Jackson took to instagram to post the following messages on his story:
Over the past two years with the Eagles, Jackson has played a total of eight games. Jackson had three more season left on his Eagles contract, but 2020 was the final season in which is salary was guaranteed. The 2022 and 2023 years of the contract are voided since Jackson was not extended by the Eagles.
As the Eagles move towards a complete rebuild, more names are likely to follow as the team sheds aging players’ expensive contracts.
