Eagles eyeing Northwestern safety JR Pace

Although the Eagles made their big free agency splash on safety Anthony Harris, it looks like they could target the position once more in the upcoming 2021 NFL Draft. According to The Draft Network, the Eagles are one of several teams interested in Northwestern safety JR Pace. Pace is projected to go during the late rounds of the NFL Draft and possibly an undrafted free agent.
The 6-1 safety played four years with the Wildcats, being a key contributor since his sophomore season. During that 2018 season, he had over 82 tackles, three sacks, and four interceptions in a stellar year. Philadelphia has 11 draft picks and many open roster spaces to fill, and Pace can be an excellent addition to bring into Philadelphia and develop on the practice squad.
There are just nine days until the start of the 2021 NFL Draft, and the Eagles have proven to be one of the most intriguing teams selecting. They have been connected to quarterbacks and running backs and are rumored to be trading back up into the top ten after trading back from the sixth pick.
