Terrell Owens picks Eagles to win NFC East

Pack it in. Itโ€™s already over. Yesterday Chad Ochocinco and Terrell Owens spoke on numerous NFL bets this upcoming season. When Ocho asked TO about his thoughts on who would win the NFC East this season, Owens was quick to respond. Without hesitation, Terrell said that the Eagles would win the East over his other former team, the Dallas Cowboys.

โ€œEagles got Jalen Hurts, heโ€™s always going to put them in contention.โ€

That is some high praise from the NFL Hall of Famer towards Hurts. Owens has been an active Eagles supporter in retirement but still holds a feud with his former QB Donovan McNabb. Owens played for the Eagles from 2004 through 2005.

Jalen Hurts isnโ€™t practicing in-person with the Eagles yet, but some of his teammates have gotten a head start. Currently, the Eagles are conducting their rookie minicamp for recent draft picks like DeVonta Smith and Landon Dickerson. With the easiest schedule in the NFL, the Eagles could make a sneaky push for the division this upcoming season.
